Day in the Life

As a Lead Pharmacy Technician, your day will be filled with a variety of challenging and rewarding tasks. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with senior technicians to coordinate daily production of assigned areas, including data entry, customer service, and automation
• Troubleshooting and assisting with front-end processes and workflow issues to identify solutions
• Partnering with pharmacy leaders on team training plans and collaborating with field training teams as needed
• Assisting in orientation, training, and education programs for all controlled substances in accordance with policies, procedures, state, and federal laws
• Leading and supporting the front-end pharmacy technician team and assisting when the pharmacy is busy with data entry, customer service, and processing support tasks

Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to bring the following qualifications and skills:

• Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
• Certification, licensure, or registration as a pharmacy technician, or as required by state law
• One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications and skills are preferred:

• Prior experience in the long-term care industry
• PTCB National Certification

Education

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is between $18.50 and $34.60 per hour. Please note that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls, and the actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
