Description & Requirements

Infor is seeking a Solutions Director to lead the Solution Consulting team for Process Industries- food & beverage and chemical manufacturing sectors in North America.

The Solutions Director is responsible for providing strategic direction, managing team performance, and ensuring alignment with organizational sales objectives. This role requires expertise in process manufacturing, SaaS solution consulting, and executive-level engagement, while also leading a team of experienced Solutions Consultants to drive pre-sales success and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

A Day in the Life Typically Includes

  • Lead and mentor a team of Solution Consultants, ensuring they are trained and prepared for pre-sales engagements.
  • Incorporate emerging technologies, including Agentic AI and Generative AI, into solution-selling strategies and demonstrations.
  • Develop and implement a pre-sales plan aligned with organizational revenue goals.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Strategy, Services, Marketing, and other solution consulting teams, to deliver software solutions.
  • Ensure resources are effectively leveraged to address customer challenges, advance sales opportunities, and support customer outcomes.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and professional development of team members; establish performance targets and conduct regular evaluations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the competitive landscape and industry-specific business processes for food & beverage and chemical manufacturing.
  • Support customer-facing activities, including presentations and demonstrations, to communicate the business and technical benefits of Infor’s ERP solutions.
  • Engage with prospects and clients to understand business objectives and align ERP solutions to those objectives.

Basic Qualifications

  • Management experience leading Solution Consulting professionals, including pre-sales demonstration and value presentation teams.
  • Industry experience in process manufacturing, specifically food & beverage or chemical sectors.
  • Experience engaging with and presenting to all levels of an organization, including C-suite executives.
  • Experience developing and executing strategic sales approaches that emphasize business value.
  • Experience mentoring and coaching teams.
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience managing projects and maintaining customer relationships.
