As a Student Success Coach, you will play a vital role in helping students overcome challenges, develop essential skills, and reach their educational goals. About the Role

As a Student Success Coach, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to students enrolled in blithequark's programs. You will work closely with students to understand their needs, goals, and challenges, and provide personalized support and guidance to help them succeed. Your role will involve:

  • Providing proactive and timely outreach to students to ensure they are on track to meet their academic goals
  • Encouraging and supporting students through daily and weekly outreach as they work to develop skills and knowledge for academic success
  • Offering and teaching students how to use resources to help maximize their success
  • Becoming a certified resume reviewer to provide resume and career development support
  • Serving as a liaison for students, enabling them to connect with various departments

Key Responsibilities

* Support enrollment, student development, and retention services while ensuring a quality learning experience

  • Manage a group of assigned students and coach each through their degree program
  • Encourage and support students through daily and weekly outreach as they work to develop skills and knowledge for academic success
  • Provide a trusted environment where students can share their thoughts, aspirations, concerns, and interests
  • Offer and teach students how to use resources to help maximize the success of each student
  • Become a certified resume reviewer to provide resume and career development support
  • Serve as a liaison for students, enabling them to connect with various departments

What We're Looking For

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher learning (or international equivalent)

  • Two or more years of experience in academic/admissions support, customer service, human resources, and/or counseling
  • Knowledge of academic policies and procedures
  • Ability to learn technical skills quickly
  • Excellent communication/listening skills, including a pleasant phone manner
  • Strong customer support focus and attention to details

Schedule and Work-Life Balance

As a remote employee, you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home office. Our hours of operation are Monday-Thursday 8am to 7pm CDT, and Friday & Saturday 8am to 5pm CDT. We hire people from all time zones that have availability during our hours of operation, in support of our students.
