Job Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Service Agent with blithequark, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service and support to clients and their customers through phone, email, and chat interactions
  • Resolving customer issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Selling new products and services to customers, while also upselling and cross-selling existing offerings
  • Utilizing systems and technology to complete account management tasks and ensure seamless customer experiences
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues and escalate concerns as needed
  • Staying up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends to provide informed and expert advice to customers
  • Meeting and exceeding performance metrics, including first call resolution, customer satisfaction, and sales targets

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
  • The ability to type swiftly and accurately (20+ words a minute)
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Basic understanding of Windows operating system
  • Highly reliable with the ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality
  • The ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow-up on customer issues
  • An aptitude for conflict resolution, problem solving, and negotiation
  • Must be customer service oriented (empathetic, responsive, patient, and conscientious)
  • Ability to multi-task, stay focused, and self-manage
  • Strong team orientation and customer focus
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where change and ambiguity are prevalent
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with your team and customers

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Previous experience in customer service or sales
  • Knowledge of CRM software and other customer service tools
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
  • Certification in customer service or sales (e.g. Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR), Certified Sales Professional (CSP))
