About the Role

We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Customer Service and Call Center Representatives to join our team at blithequark. As a Call Center Representative, you will be responsible for handling emergency signals, notifying and verifying alarm signals, and dispatching the proper authorities when necessary. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive starting pay of $17.49 per hour, shift differentials up to $4.00 per hour, and bilingual differentials. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a generous PTO package, tuition reimbursement, and a 401(k) retirement plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle emergency signals and respond promptly to alarm activations
  • Notify and verify alarm signals to ensure accurate and efficient response
  • Dispatch proper authorities, such as police or fire departments, when necessary
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residential and commercial customers
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of attention to detail
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a call center or emergency response environment
  • Weekends, holidays, and overtime flexibility required
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in using software applications and technology systems
  • Ability to commute to our location in Manasquan, NJ, for training and occasional on-site work

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customer populations
  • Previous experience in alarm monitoring, emergency response, or a related field
  • Advanced computer skills, including experience with CRM software and technology systems
  • Certifications or training in customer service, emergency response, or a related field
