MarketSource is headquartered in Alpharetta, GA.Responsible for managing an assigned account base while representing the client. Primary responsibilities include increasing sales and market share of the brands represented, developing relationships with buyers and category managers, and achieving performance objectives as assigned. Meeting and exceeding the client's objectives, plans, and priorities, effectively using accounts, market, and client knowledge to successfully sell client-specific programs and initiatives.Wages: $18.50/hourResponsibilitiesEssential Job Functions: Execute sales calls within a designated account base to sell business plans, programs, and concepts that improve long-term business results.Deliver client's volume, share, and fundamental goals (Distribution, Shelving, Pricing, and Promotions)Develop and leverage relationships with key influencers and decision-makers with assigned accounts and clients.Provide a high level of financial stewardship.Maintain business critical reports and processes: Product distribution list, cost, and trade fund files, promotional plans, etc.Use syndicated data and category insights to represent the client during category reviews acting as a champion for client products/brands.Provide timely information on product and price changes to accounts.Assume Subject Matter Expert (SME) role for assigned brands/processes and share across the team.Provide feedback on the effectiveness of the client's strategies, selling programs, and initiatives.Make key account visits and attend trade shows as needed (up to 10%)Assist with team development of product knowledge, client processes, and account information.Maintain strict confidentiality of information provided by the client and customer.Maintain required documentation in an accurate and timely manner using established systems.Follows sales call standards and effectively orchestrates a call overage plan that meets the business needs of the client and accounts.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, presentation, and client relations skillsMust display excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.Ability to analyze sales and marketing information to make effective sales presentations.Growth mindset with a willingness to learn, share, and reapply.At a minimum, proficient in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and web-based applicationsAbility to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision to meet deadlines and objectives.Willingness to travel as needed.QualificationsPosting Ends: 6/2/2025MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants for this job will be expected to meet the following minimum qualifications.Must be 18 years or older Have a High School Diploma or GED required Additional education may be required based on individual projects and/or locationsAbility to pass standardized interview Score acceptably on job related testing assessmentsAbility to clearly communicate using a clear, distinct voiceA minimum of six months of relevant experience in retail, sales, finance, or marketing, preferably in the CPG industryMarketSource and Salelytics is an Equal Opportunity Employer and will consider all applications without regards to race, sex, age, color, religion, national origin, veteran status, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information or any characteristic protected by law.
