Job Summary

As a Finance Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, addressing their banking-related inquiries, and resolving complex issues in a timely and professional manner. You'll work closely with our team to ensure our clients receive the highest level of service, and you'll be empowered to make decisions that drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Responsibilities

* Answer inbound calls from customers regarding their banking accounts, products, and services

  • Assist customers with account inquiries, including balances, transactions, and statements
  • Resolve customer concerns related to online banking, debit/credit cards, and transactions
  • Provide information on bank products such as checking and savings accounts, loans, and credit cards
  • Process account updates, including address changes, stop payments, and new product enrollments
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate department or supervisor for further action
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy while handling customer concerns
  • Meet or exceed call handling and customer satisfaction metrics
  • Accurately document customer interactions in the bank's system
  • Stay informed about bank policies, procedures, and regulations to provide accurate information

Key Skills and Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with customers and resolve complex issues
  • Strong typing skills and basic software skills, with the ability to navigate multiple systems and applications
  • Customer service and call center support experience, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Basic knowledge of banking products and services, with a willingness to learn and stay up-to-date on industry developments
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on meeting or exceeding call handling and customer satisfaction metrics

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a remote or virtual environment

  • Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
  • Experience working with CRM software and other customer relationship management tools
