Patient Account Representative-Special Self Pay

Job Family: Patient Account Representative Travel Required: None Clearance Required: None What You Will Do:

• The Patient Account Representative will review each patient account in order to determine whether there are any corrective opportunities present before bad debt.
• This process may require the Representative to confirm applicable insurance coverage or contact the Patient for further information
• If corrective action is required, the Patient Account Representative will take the appropriate action and note the account
• Physician Billing and/ or Hospital patient account review
• Use of IDX software daily
• The representative will work independently with a variety of duties with minimal supervision.
• Other duties may be performed

What You Will Need:

• High School diploma
• 0-2 years of prior relevant experience; some roles may require vocational or technical education

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• IDX Software experience
• Health care Billing- Physician Billing
• Exhibit flexibility and cope effectively in an ever-changing, fast paced environment.
• Maintaining a customer focus and strive to satisfy the customer's perceived needs.

#LI-DNI The annual salary range for this position is $34,000.00-$56,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
