Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Food Retail Host/Hostess to join our team in our Quick Service Cafés. As a Food Retail Host/Hostess, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional guest experiences, ensuring seamless service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Key Responsibilities

• Guest Experience: Greet and interact with all guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience.
• Order Taking and Processing: Take orders, operate the POS system, and process payments accurately and efficiently.
• Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and serve food and beverages, maintaining high-quality standards and presentation.
• Cash Handling and Payment Processing: Handle cash transactions, operate the cash register, and process payments accurately.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Respond to guest inquiries, provide directions, and offer exceptional customer service.
• Teamwork and Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team to ensure seamless service and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Adaptability and Flexibility: Adapt to changing situations, prioritize tasks, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Health and Safety: Maintain knowledge of health and sanitation regulations, including temperature requirements, and ensure a clean and safe work environment.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Language Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with guests and team members.
• Cash Handling: Ability to handle cash transactions and operate a cash register.
• Time Management: Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced environment.
• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and ensuring seamless service.
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing situations, prioritize tasks, and maintain a positive attitude.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to work outside in various weather conditions, stand for long periods, and lift up to 25 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Experience: Previous experience in a food service or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Local Ingredients: Knowledge of local ingredients and traditional Hawaiian cuisine is an asset.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in Hawaiian or Japanese language is preferred.
• Outdoor Experience: Previous experience working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions is an asset.
