The Opportunity

We're seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Customer Service Representative to join our remote team. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clients' members or customers, addressing their concerns, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Responsibilities

As a Remote Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Performing PCP Change/Provider Lookup to ensure seamless transitions for our clients' members or customers
  • Looking up Medical Benefits, including benefit maximums, copay/coinsurances, Prior Authorization pre-requisites, and coverage to provide accurate information to our clients' members or customers
  • Reviewing Ancillary Benefits, such as Dental, Vision, Over the Counter, etc., to ensure comprehensive support
  • Processing claims inquiries, including addressing billing issues and resolving disputes
  • Answering enrollment/disenrollment inquiries, grievances/complaints, and other customer concerns
  • Managing LEP (Limited English Proficiency) inquiries and disputes to ensure equal access to healthcare services
  • Assisting with material requests, such as ID cards, Large/Brail print materials, and Catalogs
  • Providing self-help options, including access to member portals and local locations for pharmacies, OTC, and Specialist services

Experience Required for Your Success

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent
  • At least 18 months of Call center experience, with a strong background in customer service
  • A Healthcare background is a plus, but not required
  • A minimum of 2 years of Computer Experience in a work environment, with proficiency in software applications and systems
  • The ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to empathize and care for our clients' members or customers
  • A dedicated area to work from in your home, with a reliable internet connection (50 Mb/s download speed and 10 Mb/s upload speed)
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction
