Key Responsibilities:

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Greet customers with a smile and provide exceptional service, ensuring a positive shopping experience
  • Run the register, cashier, and make purchase suggestions to help customers find the perfect products
  • Work with our food program and other areas of the store to maintain high standards for store appearance and provide fast and friendly service to our customers
  • Interact with customers daily, building strong relationships and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Collaborate with a fun, energetic team to accomplish daily tasks and achieve our goals
  • Provide regular and predictable onsite attendance, ensuring our customers receive the best possible service

Essential Qualifications:

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think quickly and offer creative solutions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities with ease
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; retail and customer service experience a plus
  • Motivation to advance in your career and a willingness to learn and grow with our team

Preferred Qualifications:

* Retail and customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences

  • Sales associate or cashiering experience, with a strong understanding of sales techniques and customer engagement strategies
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on customer service, sales, or a related field
  • Motivation to advance in your career, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges

Physical Requirements:

* Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours, with regular breaks to rest and recharge

  • Lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes in a shift, with occasional lifting and/or carrying up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level
  • Push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds, with regular bending and twisting to reach and manipulate objects
  • Grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands, requiring eye-hand coordination and occasional climbing of ladders to store and retrieve materials or place and remove signs
