The Impact You'll Make

As a key member of blithequark's backend engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering technical expertise to both internal and external customers. Your role will involve developing and implementing integration solutions that seamlessly coordinate applications across the customer's enterprise. You will be the linchpin in diagnosing, configuring, deploying, and supporting blithequark's cutting-edge technology, ensuring that it meets the organizational needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the evaluation of current and future tooling and automation for customer support at blithequark, driving implementation across the engineering team.
  • Collaborate closely with pre-sales engineering to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex customer issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
  • Partner with customers to develop custom configurations and scripts for intricate use cases, tailoring blithequark's solutions to their specific needs.
  • Own customer and developer satisfaction for your products in production, working across teams to build operational transparency and resiliency into every layer of deployed applications.
  • Coordinate with engineering and product leads to define, prioritize, and task projects that align with blithequark's business objectives, driving growth and innovation.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and code reviews to foster the growth and development of your colleagues, promoting a culture of excellence.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed as a Senior Solutions Engineer at blithequark, you should possess:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in software development, DevOps, or site reliability engineering, with a strong foundation in designing and implementing scalable solutions.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with scalable, API-based agent or service-oriented software architecture, demonstrating your ability to craft efficient and effective systems.
  • At least 3 years of direct customer support experience, showcasing your ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies, highlighting your adaptability and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • A proven track record of leading the delivery of large-scale distributed systems, underscoring your technical leadership capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, as you will be working closely with customers and internal stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following skills and experiences will give you a competitive edge:

  • Experience building applications with Python and/or Go, demonstrating your proficiency in crafting high-quality software.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, highlighting your ability to navigate and leverage cloud-based technologies.

Compensation and Benefits

blithequark offers a competitive compensation package that includes:

  • A salary range of $170,000-$200,000 USD for Senior Solutions Engineers, and $190,000-$220,000 USD for Staff Solutions Engineers.
