Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team at blithequark. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, responsible for processing orders, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Your exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will make you an invaluable asset to our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders in an accurate and efficient manner, ensuring a smooth production process
  • Facilitate purchase orders, verify quotations, and manage internal forms and records
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to ensure seamless order processing and customer satisfaction
  • Check orders for accuracy, document releases from inventory, and file tickets for completed jobs
  • Develop a thorough understanding of production capabilities and product offerings to provide expert support to customers
  • Evaluate and verify purchase order correspondence with quotations, and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Prepare materials for return to customers, document Haz-Mat orders, and manage marketing materials
  • Assist the estimating department as needed, and fill in for Account Managers during their absence
  • Perform additional tasks and duties as required and delegated by the Director of Sales

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required, with an Associate's Degree (two-year college or technical school) preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, order processing, or a related field
  • Excellent communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, with experience in The Flesh Operating System (or similar software) an asset
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work accurately and efficiently

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are considered an asset:

  • Bronze designation on ACT, or equivalent certification
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Knowledge of production capabilities, product offerings, and industry-specific software
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service

Compensation and Benefits
