Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Full Stack Data Engineer at blithequark, you will be responsible for:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and applications that drive business insights and decision-making
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop data-driven solutions
• Developing and implementing data engineering best practices and standards to ensure data quality, security, and scalability
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex data engineering issues and providing technical guidance to junior team members
• Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement
• Participating in code reviews and contributing to the development of high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code
• Collaborating with data scientists and analysts to develop and implement data-driven solutions that meet business needs
• Providing technical leadership and guidance to junior team members and contributing to the growth and development of the team

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A strong foundation in software engineering, data science, and cloud computing
• Experience with data engineering tools and technologies, including data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and Scala
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and data governance
• Experience with data visualization tools and technologies, including Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

• Experience with big data technologies, including Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
• Knowledge of data engineering frameworks and tools, including Apache Beam, Apache Flink, and Apache Kafka
