Job Overview

As a Remote Temporary Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be the friendly voice our customers hear when they place their orders. Your role will involve answering continuous inbound phone calls, taking and entering customer orders into our system, and escalating any additional customer service needs. With a competitive pay rate of $14.00 per hour plus upsell commission, flexible scheduling, and a shift premium of $0.50 per hour for hours worked after 4:30 PM, this opportunity offers the perfect blend of flexibility and earning potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answering inbound phone calls and providing exceptional customer service
  • Taking and entering customer orders into our system
  • Escalating any additional customer service needs
  • Working independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision

  • Participating in paid training and ongoing coaching and development

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must be at least 18 years old, living in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, or Wisconsin. You must also have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 or 11
  • Reliable internet connection with a minimum download speed of 4.0 MBPS and upload speed of 2.0 MBPS
  • Wired USB headset and keyboard with function keys

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Previous customer service experience
  • Experience working in a remote or home-based environment
  • Knowledge of customer service software and technology
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
