As a Customer Service Representative - Medicare, you will be the frontline representative for our client, handling a wide range of customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing timely solutions. About the Role

As a Customer Service Representative - Medicare at blithequark, you will be responsible for handling inbound customer calls, addressing their concerns, and resolving issues related to claims, benefits, enrollment, member portal, ID cards, and more. You will be expected to provide exceptional customer service, empathizing with customers, and delivering personalized solutions to meet their needs. This is a 100% remote role, allowing you to work from anywhere within a one-hour radius of Philadelphia, PA 19103.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound customer calls, responding to inquiries and resolving issues related to Medicare services
  • Provide exceptional customer service, empathizing with customers, and delivering personalized solutions to meet their needs
  • Navigate multiple systems to access customer information, resolve issues, and complete tasks
  • Communicate complex information clearly and effectively over the phone, using proper grammar and professional language
  • Maintain a high level of productivity, meeting or exceeding performance metrics and quality standards
  • Work flexible hours, including late nights and weekends, to ensure coverage across a 7-day week

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • Call center customer service experience, handling inbound calls (no telesales)
  • Excellent customer-focused competencies, with strong customer service skills and empathy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex messages over the phone
  • Ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously, with a high level of technical proficiency
  • A score of 80% or above on the eSkills test

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly preferred:

  • High school diploma or GED, with 2 years of customer service experience or call center experience
  • Healthcare industry experience, with a background in Medicare or related fields
  • Previous Medicare experience, with knowledge of Medicare services and regulations
  • Call center customer service experience, handling inbound calls
  • Medical background or related field, with a strong understanding of medical terminology and concepts
