Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative – Claims (Total Loss) at Blithequark, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their claims related to total losses. You will work closely with our claims team to ensure that policyholders receive exceptional service and support throughout the claims process. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to policyholders, claimants, and other stakeholders via telephone, email, and mail
  • Assist customers with new and existing claims, ensuring timely and accurate processing
  • Process letters and other correspondence related to claims
  • Issue payments to insureds, claimants, and vendors in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Adjust losses for a variety of claims, with the exception of bodily injury
  • Collaborate with claims adjusters and other team members to resolve complex claims issues
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to claims
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and company policies

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education required
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in the insurance industry
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous insurance background, including knowledge of insurance policies and procedures
  • State insurance license or willingness to obtain one after hire
  • Experience with claims processing and adjustment
