Great Place to Work® Most Loved Workplace® Forbes Best-in-State Employer Payroll Consultant (Open to Remote) PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: To be responsible for payroll processing, issue resolution, and payroll related reporting for assigned regions. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBLITIES MAY INCLUDE
- Oversees the payroll processing and transmission for assigned regions (may include US, Canada and/or LATAM).
- Reviews, audits, and performs reconciliation of various payroll reports.
- Researches and provides resolutions related to escalated payroll issues/inquiries.
- Serves as back-up for payroll related functions.
- Develops and coordinates delivery of custom payroll related reporting for internal and external customers.
- Leads and conducts system testing for payroll system changes and enhancements.
- Assists with coordination of information requests relating to financial audits.
- Serves as subject matter expert for payroll system processes maintaining working knowledge of federal, state/provincial, and local payroll and tax regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Six (6) years of payroll experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Multi-state/locality, Canadian and /or LATAM payroll experience preferred.
- Workday experience
- Highly skilled in Excel
- US/Canada/LATAM experience (Canada experience required)
