Your Mission

As our part-time Senior Bookkeeper & Financial Controller, you'll be responsible for establishing and maintaining efficient financial operations while supporting our startup's growth. Your expertise will help us manage our books, optimize financial processes, and provide strategic insights for our scaling journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Operations: Manage weekly bookkeeping, including accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
• Subscription Management: Oversee subscription billing and revenue recognition
• Capital Raise Support: Maintain financial documentation for investors
• Financial Control: Implement and maintain internal controls and financial processes
• Monthly Reporting: Prepare key financial statements and management reports
• Financial Analysis: Provide strategic insights and recommendations to support business growth
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards

Essential Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in tech startups
• Subscription Revenue Management: Experience with subscription revenue management
• Financial Controlling: Background in financial controlling or similar role
• Accounting Software: Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks)
• Remote Work: Comfortable working remotely and managing time effectively
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
