Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Part-Time Hybrid School Psychologist to join our team for the 2024/2025 school year. As a School Psychologist, you will play a critical role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional needs of our students. This is a part-time position that requires 7 hours of work per week, with some flexibility to work from home. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing psychological services, including evaluations, IEP development, and counseling, to students in grades K-12.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to identify student strengths and needs
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to support student learning
  • Provide counseling and therapy services to students, as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other support staff to develop and implement strategies to support student success
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and develop plans for support
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student evaluations, IEPs, and services provided
  • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other professionals to ensure student needs are met

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • Membership in the National Association of School Psychologists
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
  • Maryland Active State Board of Education license
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience working with students in grades K-12

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with IEP development and implementation
  • Knowledge of Response to Intervention (RTI) and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS)
  • Experience working in a hybrid or remote work environment
