Job Overview and Responsibilities

In this critical role, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing them with expert guidance, support, and solutions to their financial needs. As a Phone Banker, you will be responsible for:

  • Answering customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing personalized recommendations to enhance their banking experience
  • Developing a deep understanding of our banking products and services to effectively advise customers on the best solutions for their financial goals
  • Building strong relationships with customers, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell relevant products, and providing exceptional customer service
  • Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to resolve customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Meeting and exceeding performance metrics, including sales targets, customer satisfaction scores, and quality standards

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong focus on customer service
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to navigate multiple systems

  • One year of customer service or production experience in a banking or financial services environment

  • A history of customer-facing roles, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Stable work history, with a minimum of one year of experience in previous roles
  • Some college or a degree in a related field, such as business, finance, or communications
