About the Role

We are looking for a talented Android Software Engineer to collaborate with designers and product groups to build high-quality, performant, and accessible client experiences. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with product groups and designers to help scope and refine hypotheses-driven, data-informed products and experiences. Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with designers and product groups to assemble superb, performant, and open client experiences
• Working closely with product groups and designers to help scope and refine hypotheses-driven, data-informed products and experiences
• Participating with partner engineering teams on shared infrastructure
• Delivering excellent Android client code with effective documentation and automated tests that can be used by other engineers in the group
• Optimizing the performance of our Android applications with complex view hierarchies and states on low-end devices and networks

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Strong programming skills in Java or Kotlin
• Experience with Android development and the Android SDK
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
