Our Clinic Patient Access Center is a fast-paced contact center that is responsible for scheduling patient appointments and taking patient messages for Mercy Clinics. We're looking for talented individuals to join our team as Patient Service Agents, providing exceptional customer service and support to our patients.

Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced Patient Service Agent to join our Clinic Patient Access Center in Rogers, Arkansas Region. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with the potential to transition to a work-from-home role after completing our training program. As a Patient Service Agent, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, scheduling patient appointments, and taking patient messages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers via phone and other communication channels
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage appointment schedules
  • Take patient messages and respond to patient inquiries
  • Deliver general information to patients regarding appointments, messages, and Mercy services
  • Utilize data entry skills to accurately and efficiently document patient information
  • Multitask and prioritize tasks to meet productivity standards
  • Demonstrate a professional, courteous, and compassionate attitude in all interactions
  • Type at least 60 words per minute

Qualifications and Requirements

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Telephone Customer Service experience, or Face-to-Face Customer Service experience, or Previous Healthcare experience
  • Data Entry skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to take direction and follow instructions
  • Professional, courteous, and compassionate attitude
  • Type 60 words per minute

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
