Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with customers, understand their needs, and provide personalized recommendations to enhance their shopping experience
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all customers receive a warm welcome, prompt assistance, and a memorable experience
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, staying up-to-date on new products, promotions, and services to effectively endorse items and evoke enthusiasm about acquisitions
  • Collaborate with management and coworkers to achieve sales objectives, share knowledge, and contribute to the overall success of the store
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system, handling customer refunds and exchanges in accordance with company policies and procedures

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have basic mathematical skills and the ability to perform calculations accurately
  • Have experience in dealing with customer issues and resolving problems in a professional and courteous manner
  • Be able to multitask, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Be willing to obtain forklift certification through blithequark, if required for the role
  • Be able to pass a mandatory drug test, if required by law, to operate heavy equipment

  • Previous experience in retail, customer service, or sales
  • Excellent communication, listening, and problem-solving skills

Physical and Sensory Requirements

The physical and sensory demands of this role include:

  • Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or moving objects weighing up to 60 pounds occasionally, or up to 30 pounds frequently
  • Using hands and fingers to touch and manipulate objects, such as operating a cash register, handling products, and using equipment
  • Standing, walking, reaching, balancing, and climbing, as required to perform job duties
