Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate ABA/Autism Technician to join our team in Englewood, CO. As an ABA/Autism Technician, you will work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum, implementing Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy and counseling programs established by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This is an entry-level position, and we provide comprehensive training to ensure your success. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one in-home ABA therapy to children on the autism spectrum
  • Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions
  • Conduct discrete trials, implement behavior support, and treatment plans
  • Work collaboratively with a BCBA Supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy
  • Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors
  • Be goal-oriented and maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work
  • Arrive on time and be prepared for therapy sessions

Requirements:

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience working with children for 1 year in a 1:1 setting
  • 1-year ABA experience (or equivalent experience in a related field)
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle
  • Maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Must have your own transportation and auto insurance to travel between clients

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
  • Experience using a Cognitive Behavior Intervention Plan with youth and families
  • University Partnerships, Supervision, Practicum, and Mentoring experience for aspiring BCBAs

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 35lbs
  • Required to perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills, bend, kneel, squat, sitting on floor level or in a chair, or standing for periods of time
  • Ability to respond quickly in short distances (100 feet) in response to the movements and behaviors of children
  • Willingness and ability to work in both indoor and outdoor settings
