About the Role

As an online English tutor with Preply, you will have the opportunity to teach English to students all over the world, on your own schedule and at your own price. You will be able to create your own lesson plans or use Preply's curriculum for your lessons with your students. Our integrated calendar will allow you to set your availability and schedule lessons with students. You will also have access to training and professional development through Preply's Tutor Academy and regular webinars.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach English online to Preply students all over the world, on your own schedule and at your own price
• Create your own lesson plans or use Preply's curriculum for your lessons with your students
• Use Preply's integrated calendar to set your availability and schedule lessons with students
• Provide comprehensive materials and resources to meet students' needs
• Be energetic, patient, responsible, and cheerful in your interactions with students

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

• Proficiency in English
• A University degree or Certificate to teach English (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, DELTA, etc), or equivalent qualification in English language teaching
• Experience teaching one-on-one classes with proven results, preferably online
• A high-speed internet connection

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience providing comprehensive materials and resources to meet students' needs
• Previous experience with online teaching platforms
• Familiarity with educational technology and tools
