Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Customer Service Manager to lead our remote customer support team. As a Customer Service Manager with blithequark, you'll be responsible for driving operational excellence, leading a team of customer service representatives, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of customer service representatives to deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve operational goals
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, reduce complaints, and increase efficiency
  • Analyze performance data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Coach and mentor team members to improve their skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Manage and allocate resources to meet operational demands and achieve business objectives
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, including operations, marketing, and sales teams

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business, communications, or customer service)
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service management or a related field
  • Proven track record of success in leading a team and improving customer satisfaction
  • Strong knowledge of customer service principles, practices, and technologies
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer relationship management (CRM) software

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Airline or travel industry experience
  • Experience with remote team management
  • Knowledge of Joint Collective Bargaining Agreement (JCBA) and airline regulations
  • Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g., ICMI, HDI)
