Job Overview and Responsibilities

As a Senior Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster - Transportation, you will be responsible for handling a caseload of up to 150 pending claims, which may include complex cases requiring meticulous investigation, analysis, and negotiation. Your primary objectives will include:

• Establishing facts of loss, conducting coverage analysis, and determining compensability, liability, and negligence
• Coordinating medical care, managing litigation, and assessing damages
• Conducting timely and accurate reserve analysis and report completion
• Identifying potential fraud and ensuring the appropriate use of authorized vendors
• Attending conferences, client meetings, and mentoring other adjusters as requested
• Maintaining current claim metrics and adhering to state statutes, client claims handling guidelines, and NARS best practices

Essential Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you should possess:

• A high school diploma or equivalent, with a 2-year degree or higher preferred
• At least 5 years of prior claim adjusting experience, preferably in commercial auto or trucking
• Heavy litigation experience (5+ years) for all lines except Workers' Compensation
• A Florida Adjuster's license or the ability to obtain one, as well as other required jurisdictional licensing
