Within CIMA, the DTOA team is responsible for leveraging cutting-edge analytics practices to optimize our digital and contact channels, ensuring that every guest interaction is seamless, engaging, and memorable.

Job Summary

As a Performance Data Analyst at blithequark, you'll play a critical role in driving business outcomes and enhancing guest experiences through data-driven insights. You'll work closely with our contact centers and pre-arrival Walt Disney World Commerce teams to analyze performance data, identify areas for improvement, and develop actionable recommendations to drive business growth. This is a remote role, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while collaborating with our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct forecasting, advert hoc modeling, and deep-dive analysis to inform business decisions

• Monitor agent performance, proactively identify areas for improvement, and develop personalized analyses from start to finish
• Build compelling stories with data through visualizations and presentations
• Present findings, insights, and recommendations to Senior Leadership and business partners
• Create, maintain, audit, and optimize reports and documents used to support various programs
• Execute programs critical to business operations under strict timelines

Measurement and Analytics

* Leverage multiple reporting tools and databases (Tableau, Snowflake, Hadoop, Dataiku, Excel, etc.) to conduct analyses and build/preserve reports

• Monitor data quality and accuracy; improve if needed
• Collaborate with team members, leaders, and business partners to answer summary business questions with sound quantitative analyses and reproducible results
• Apply progressive analytic techniques to test hypotheses and extract actionable insights
• Stay up-to-date with today's data technology trends and share knowledge and best practices with team members

We're Looking for Someone with:

* Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of quantitative, non-internship experience in an analytical role

• Familiarity with forecasting, including conventional statistical techniques and/or machine learning or deep learning techniques
• Proactive interest in understanding the "Why" behind performance, decisions, etc.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks and complete projects on time
• Effective communication skills (verbal, written, and visual)
• Desire to excel in a fast-paced, complex, and ambiguous business environment
• Experience with SQL and R or Python

Nice-to-Haves:

* Solid knowledge of statistical inference and proven experience in applying statistical rigor to analyses

• Knowledge of data visualization best practices and experience with data visualization tools, including Tableau or Power BI
• Excellent SQL skills and fluency in R or Python
• Ability to quickly adapt and learn new tools and skills
• Ability to maintain and develop relationships with partners/clients/team members
• Graduate degree and/or 4+ years of relevant experience in analytics or data science
