Key Responsibilities

As a part-time remote Data Entry Clerk, you'll be responsible for:

  • Receiving requests for technical assistance from customers and submitting them into blithequark's ticketing system for review by Help Desk technicians
  • Reviewing each open ticket to determine the outcome and ensuring that customers receive updates and exceptional customer service
  • Emailing responses to customers to keep them informed and satisfied
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and ticket resolutions
  • Collaborating with Help Desk technicians to resolve complex issues and provide timely support to customers
  • Staying organized and focused to ensure that each ticket is closed out quickly and efficiently

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous experience in I.T. Help Desk ticketing or online customer service for a technology company or busy online retailer (not required, but highly desirable)
  • Excellent typing skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new systems and processes
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., computer science, business administration) preferred

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:

  • Experience with ticketing systems and Help Desk software
  • Knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) principles and practices
  • Familiarity with cloud-based applications and software as a service (SaaS)
  • Certification in customer service or IT support (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation)
