Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative in our Remote Call Center, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information and courteous assistance to customers regarding their student loans
  • Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends
  • Meeting or exceeding performance metrics and quality standards

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Windows products, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • A minimum typing speed of 40-45 WPM
  • Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail
  • English fluency (required) and bilingual Spanish (preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • 2 years of call center experience
  • Proficiency in Google Suite or other cloud-based productivity tools
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Knowledge of student loan management and financial aid regulations
