Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Base Specialty Boiler Room Technician to join our team in San Francisco, USA. As a Boiler Room Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing our aircraft's boiler systems, ensuring the safety and efficiency of our operations. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package, including opportunities for career growth and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on boiler systems, including water treatment, safety valves, and control instruments
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues with boiler systems, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
• Perform tests and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including test results, instrument readings, and equipment performance
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify and implement process improvements
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others

Essential Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience as a boiler technician or in a related field
• Valid driver's license (no suspensions or revocations)
• 10-year record of safe driving
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, hearing and vision tests, and drug screen
• Position-specific clearances may be required, including FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs, and U.S. Postal Service clearances

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with high-pressure steam or hot water boilers
• Knowledge of boiler operations, maintenance, and repair
• Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
