You'll be expected to manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, as well as design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects, influencing and coaching a distributed team of engineers to achieve outstanding results.
• Project Management: Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment and clarity across teams on goals, outcomes, and timelines.
• Software Development: Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale software solutions that meet Google Cloud's high standards for quality, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaboration: Facilitate collaboration across teams and functions, ensuring that technical solutions meet business needs and customer expectations.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8 years of experience in software development, with a strong foundation in data structures and algorithms.
• 5 years of experience with full stack development, including back-end technologies like Java, Python, GO, and/or C++, and front-end expertise in JavaScript and/or TypeScript, HTML, CSS, or equivalent.
• 5 years of experience testing and launching software products, with 3 years of experience in software design and architecture.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role, leading project teams and setting technical direction.
• 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional and/or cross-business projects.

You'll also need excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop creative solutions. Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a salary range of $189,000-$284,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
