Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team and help us develop cutting-edge data solutions that drive business success. As a Lead Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data infrastructure, data warehouses, and data pipelines that support our web-based features and applications. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping us extract insights from large datasets, inform business decisions, and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Information Item Chiefs, Information Modelers, and Information Architects, to design, implement, and deploy data solutions that meet business requirements

  • Develop and maintain scalable data infrastructure, data warehouses, and data pipelines using cloud-based technologies (AWS, Snowflake, Hadoop, etc.)
  • Design and implement ETL pipelines, data models, and data structures to support data integration and analytics
  • Ensure high-quality data and data management practices through detailed documentation and change management
  • Work closely with data scientists and analysts to develop data-driven solutions that inform business decisions
  • Participate in agile development methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban, to ensure efficient and effective project delivery
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop data solutions that meet those needs

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration concepts
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS, Snowflake, Hadoop, and Azure
  • Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python, Java, and Scala
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with data querying and data analysis
  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
  • Strong understanding of agile development methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

  • Experience with big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with data governance, data quality, and data security best practices
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms, such as Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with data engineering tools, such as Apache Beam, Apache Airflow, or AWS Glue
  • Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and experience with machine learning libraries, such as scikit-learn or TensorFlow
