Experienced Customer Service Associate – Amazon Locker+ Retail Location

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in making the return and pickup of packages convenient for our customers, while also connecting personally with them and uplifting their lives.

Our Amazon Locker+ retail locations are designed to provide a convenient and hassle-free experience for our customers, and we're seeking a Customer Service Associate who can help us deliver on this promise.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Associate at Amazon Locker+, you will be responsible for:

  • Receiving, picking, and stowing customer orders, processing returns, and preparing for delivery
  • Assisting customers with questions and concerns, and providing personalized support to ensure their satisfaction
  • Working through problem-solving scenarios to resolve customer issues and provide a positive experience
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace, and adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols
  • Managing responsibilities for a Locker+ location, including opening and closing the site, and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
  • Using technology such as smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders
  • Receiving truck deliveries and ensuring that all packages are accurately processed and stored

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a retail or e-commerce environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift up to 49 pounds, and move items around the warehouse
  • Availability to work part-time between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m., with schedules varying week to week
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and mutual support
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment

  • Knowledge of Amazon's policies and procedures
  • Ability to speak multiple languages
  • Experience working with technology, such as handheld devices and robotics
