Key Responsibilities

• Work with a team of experts and cross-functionally with our partners to identify and define business problems suitable for AI and ML solutions
• Actively participate in developing a strategy around which structures, technologies, and infrastructure our team should use in our proof-of-concepts and pilots for AI and ML solutions
• Build proof-of-concepts and models that can be used to demonstrate the impact of AI and ML in blithequark's various business units
• Develop a set of reusable models/solutions for rapid prototyping
• Foster a AI-first mindset and help democratize AI for blithequark

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• A degree in Computer Science, AI, ML, or a related field
• 3-4 years of work experience in AI and ML, with a focus on developing and deploying AI and ML models
• Experience with at least one general-purpose programming language, including but not limited to Java, C/C++, Python, or R
• Significant experience with Python for programming development and knowledge of complex techniques and subtleties of programming development in Python
• Experience with at least one of the following: Natural Language Processing, sentiment analysis, classification, pattern recognition
• Development experience with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, Microsoft CNTK, scikit, Keras, Caffe, Gluon, Light, SageMaker, Azure AI
• Experience with basic Web UI and API development
• Experience and familiarity with presenting to technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in the travel industry or a related field
• Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and experience with cloud-based AI and ML platforms
• Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
