Key Responsibilities

As a Spanish Interpreter, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Interpreting Spanish/English conversations for a wide range of industries, including Healthcare, Government, Insurance, Financial Services, Travel & Hospitality, and government entities
• Handling telephone calls on demand in a quiet home office environment
• Translating Spanish/English conversations that may be simple, complex, or technical
• Providing excellent customer service and ensuring accurate communication between parties
• Working a minimum of 30 hours a week, with Monday shifts being required
• Participating in video interpreting calls, which may involve being on camera
• Maintaining accurate records and notes using manual dexterity to type or write

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• Fluent proficiency in both Spanish and English
• High school diploma or equivalent required; education or work experience in teaching or translation considered an asset
• Previous experience in interpretation or translation not required, but a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Manual dexterity to type or write notes
• Comfortable with being on camera during video interpreting calls

To perform your job duties effectively, you'll need:

• A personal iPhone or Android phone
• A high-speed internet connection for work-related electronic communication
