Your Responsibilities: The Heart of Social Media Moderation

As a Social Media Content Moderator, you'll be the frontline defense against inappropriate or harmful content on our clients' social media platforms. Your keen eye and sharp judgment will help ensure that users have a positive and safe experience online. Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing user-generated content (images, videos, written posts) to determine whether it meets community guidelines and client parameters
  • Escalating content that violates guidelines or parameters to the relevant teams
  • Participating in regular refresher training to stay up-to-date on policies and procedures
  • Complying with performance indicators and quality standards set by our clients
  • Investigating and resolving complex issues related to content in a timely and effective manner
  • Maintaining confidentiality and handling customer information with care
  • Providing insights and recommendations to improve processes, policies, and products
  • Staying current with workflow changes, operational guidelines, and policy updates

Essential Qualifications: The Skills and Traits We Look For

To succeed as a Social Media Content Moderator at Teleperformance, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (proof required)
  • Strong emotional intelligence and resilience
  • Comfortability reviewing sensitive or explicit content
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Logical problem-solving skills and flexibility
  • Strong computer skills, including Windows operating systems and typing at least 25 wpm
  • Ability to work various shifts as needed
  • Predictable and reliable attendance
  • Proven oral and written communication skills (6 months customer service experience preferred)
