Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Scientist to join our Advanced Innovation Group. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing data-driven solutions that drive business growth and improve operational efficiency. With a strong background in statistics, machine learning, and data analysis, you'll work closely with our cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and develop innovative solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and develop innovative solutions
- Design and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to analyze complex data sets
- Develop and maintain large-scale data pipelines and architectures
- Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning
Essential Qualifications
* Postgraduate education (PhD or ABD) in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, or computer science
- Strong background in statistics, machine learning, and data analysis
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or Julia
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS or Azure
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark
- Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence tools
- Knowledge of aircraft industry data sources and standards
- Experience with software engineering and formal high-level software engineering coursework
- 2+ years of professional experience in a data science or related field
- 1+ year of experience in the aircraft industry
