Job Summary

We're seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse to join our Nephrology team at the Flormann Street Clinic. As a Registered Nurse, you'll play a vital role in the prevention and treatment of illnesses, injuries, and disabilities. You'll work collaboratively with our team of healthcare providers, patients, and families to deliver exceptional care and promote positive health outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Utilize the ANA Nursing Process to improve patient outcomes and quality of care, including:
  • Collecting comprehensive and precise information relevant to patients' overall health or current state
  • Establishing diagnoses or issues to be addressed
  • Formulating individualized healthcare plans
  • Executing identified plans to ensure patients are progressing according to their personalized plan
  • Coordinating care with healthcare providers and stakeholders
• Demonstrate commitment to excellence in nursing practice through adherence to the ANA Standards of Professional Performance, including:
  • Enhancing the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice
  • Attaining knowledge and proficiency aligned with modern practices
  • Assessing practice in regards to relevant statutes, rules, and regulations
  • Collaborating with team members and patients to create positive health outcomes
• Adapt to the latest technology and software advancements to improve outcomes, including:
  • Supporting and documenting nursing duties and patient care services
  • Regularly accessing essential work-related applications
  • Considering opportunities to innovate and improve patient care delivery

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

• Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - American Heart Association (AHA)
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in South Dakota or Wyoming (for Wyoming facilities)

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of Registered Nurse experience
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Physical Requirements

The physical requirements for this job are demanding. Employees must be able to:

• Sustain the exertion of over 25 pounds of force constantly (67-100% of the time)
• Exert more than 50 pounds frequently (34-66% of the time)
• Move objects that weigh over 100 pounds occasionally (up to 33% of the time)
• Work a variety of shifts, including nights or irregular hours
