About the Role

As a Remote Medical Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for hospitals and patients regarding billing inquiries and other related concerns. Your expertise and dedication will ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service, resolving issues efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Exceptional Phone Support: Handle calls from hospitals and patients in a timely and professional manner, addressing billing inquiries and other concerns.
  • Patient Advocacy: Clarify patient questions, provide accurate information, and ensure they receive the support they need.
  • Problem-Solving Expert: Identify the root cause of issues, research solutions, implement the best course of action, and escalate unresolved matters when necessary.
  • Data Entry Specialist: Maintain accurate patient records by inputting information into our computer system.
  • Call Routing and Management: Seamlessly route incoming calls to the most suitable person within the company.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A background in healthcare, preferably in medical claims and/or insurance.
  • Previous experience working in a call center environment.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent transcripts.
  • The ability to undergo a criminal background check and complete a drug screen testing (including THC).
  • Reliable high-speed internet with a minimum of 50 Mbps Download/20 Mbps Upload Speed and the ability to hardwire via Ethernet cable.
  • A quiet, dedicated workspace at home with no others within earshot, compliant with HIPAA regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following skills and experience will give you a competitive edge:

  • Experience with Epic Software.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills.
