Work Schedule and Arrangements

We offer a flexible work schedule, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home. Our standard working hours are Monday to Friday, with a requirement of 34 hours per week. You will have the flexibility to choose your working hours between 8am and 4:30pm CST, ensuring a healthy work-life balance. As a remote worker, you will be expected to maintain a distraction-free workspace, adhere to our company's data security policies, and participate in regular virtual team meetings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers, ensuring high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Enter data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests expediently and efficiently to meet client turnaround times, navigating efficiently through our imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations.
  • Differentiate between different claim types and follow the appropriate data entry guidelines, accurately identifying specific document types that require special handling.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure that work is completed in accordance with designated turnaround times, supporting additional workflows as needed due to internal or external requirements.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Perform quality reviews of other team members' claims/authorizations according to established data entry guidelines, providing constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing additional responsibilities as needed, demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures.
  • Alert management of potential issues upon identification of discrepancies, providing recommendations on process improvements to increase efficiencies as appropriate.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in data entry, typing, or a related field.
  • At least 6 months of experience in data entry or a typing-focused role, with a proven track record of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Strong data entry/typing skills, with the ability to achieve 8,200 KSPH with a 98% Accuracy Rate, as demonstrated through our online alphanumeric data entry assessment.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a high degree of accuracy and a strong focus on quality.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex software systems and identify discrepancies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues and provide constructive feedback.
