Job Summary

We are seeking full-time Remote Customer Service Representatives to join our team in New York. As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for handling calls from new and existing business clients, addressing their inquiries, and providing support to ensure their satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Handling incoming calls from new and existing business clients regarding various requests
  • Providing accurate and timely information about blithequark's products and services
  • Resolving customer issues and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Documenting customer interactions and tracking call types
  • Maintaining support service levels and upholding Customer Service standards
  • Owning follow-up with customers to resolve inquiries regarding order status, shipping status, and stock availability
  • Taking inbound phone calls for up to 90% of assigned shift
  • Performing all other duties as assigned

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in high-volume calls or call center experience
  • Medical-related background (medical billing, claims experience, in-office experience in a medical setting) or insurance experience is a plus
  • Excellent telephone etiquette, including the ability to communicate with confidence in a clear, professional speaking voice
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated listening and comprehension skills
  • A clear team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain composure when dealing with difficult customer situations
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Strong PC skills, including MS Office (Word and Excel)
  • SAP experience is a plus
  • Previous experience in the optical industry is a plus
  • Ability to navigate information systems and internet
  • Strong English comprehension and a good command of grammar

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Bilingual French speaking skills
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
