Job Overview

blithequark's Caremark Member Operations division is hiring hundreds of Customer Care Representatives. We are seeking individuals who are interested in a flexible work schedule and live within 75 miles of Knoxville, TN. As a Customer Care Representative, you will have the opportunity to balance priorities in and outside of work while being committed to delivering heart-driven service to our millions of plan members. You will be assisting members with their pharmacy benefit plans, taking inbound calls, and answering questions regarding prescription insurance, medication coverage, and mail order prescriptions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist members with their pharmacy benefit plans via inbound calls
  • Answer questions regarding prescription insurance, medication coverage, and mail order prescriptions
  • Service a variety of clients and call types, including Commercial, Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and specific clients
  • Receive necessary training to upskill and assist with client and member inquiries as business needs arise
  • Offer solutions to help simplify members' health care experience
  • Adhere to HIPAA and governmental compliance requirements

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1 year of experience interacting with customers (e.g., call center, retail, customer service environment, hospitality industry, military experience)
  • Computer proficiency in Windows-based applications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred candidates will have:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to problem-solve in a positive, productive manner
  • Comfortable relating to customers in a patient, helpful way that demonstrates a genuine concern for improving the customer quality of life
  • Reliability and compliance with scheduling standards
  • Ability to exhibit patience and empathy and express assurance and confidence
  • Strong customer service skills, including courteous telephone etiquette and professionalism
  • Strong oral, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • At least 6 months of health care experience
