Swoon is hiring for a remote opportunity as a Brand AI Copy Editor, focusing on merging copyediting expertise with AI technology to uphold brand voice and scale content production. The role involves ensuring quality standards in AI-generated content, training colleagues on AI tools, and maintaining brand consistency across various platforms.

Responsibilities

• Ensure brand tone, style, and voice are reflected in enterprise tools such as Grammarly, Perplexity, Glean, and others, enabling employees to apply consistent brand language.
• Review and refine AI-generated copy to confirm it meets quality standards and brand alignment. Leverage customization features and provide feedback to tool providers to improve output.
• Guide and train colleagues on how to use AI tools effectively while maintaining brand integrity.
• Oversee AI-driven content workflows, offering expertise in prompting strategies and editorial best practices.
• Act as the “human in the loop,” enforcing brand standards and editorial guidelines to maintain consistency across all AI-generated content.
• Verify clarity, accuracy, and factual correctness in AI-assisted writing.
• Provide constructive feedback to writers, engineers, and AI systems to elevate the quality of generated content.
• Manage approvals for publishing AI-created materials to ensure compliance with brand expectations.
• Stay up to date with language trends, AI advancements, and industry standards to keep guidance fresh and relevant.
• Partner with marketing, design, and product marketing teams to refine messaging and ensure brand consistency across campaigns and platforms.
• Edit for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style while preserving tone and readability.
• Maintain and evolve brand style guides and editorial standards to support long-term content governance.
