Job Summary: Onboarding Support Specialist Part-time FSH

We're seeking an experienced Onboarding Support Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our Hospitality team, you'll play a crucial role in onboarding new food and beverage (F&B) accounts in the West region, ensuring that our venues are equipped to deliver world-class service and unforgettable experiences. If you're a food service professional with a passion for training, operations, and customer service, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Venue Preparation: Travel to new OVG accounts and prepare the venue for opening, including setting up concession stands and training staff on menu and stand operations.
  • Concession Operations: Tour and audit existing concession stands for equipment and inventory, documenting needs and issues.
  • Training and Development: Train new managers on maintenance and cleaning of concession equipment, and existing staff on proper set-up and tear-down of stands to OVG standards.
  • Inventory Management: Stock supplies and take inventory, recommending staffing levels for stands based on event attendance.
  • Menu Knowledge: Understand and explain concession menu items to staff, preparing the stand for product displays, food pricing, and common equipment issues.
  • POS System Implementation: Assist with setting up new POS systems with the IT team and train staff on the new system.
  • Event Support: Provide hands-on event support for opening events, promoting OVG's commitments to sustainability and world-class customer service.

Requirements and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Education: Associate's degree from an accredited college/university with major coursework in Culinary Arts, Food Service Operations, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience working in concessions, preferably in supervisor or lead roles.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
    • Ability to deal with ambiguity and quickly changing priorities.
    • Team player with a problem-solving mindset.
    • Experience in training multiple staff members in concessions.
