Job Overview

We are seeking motivated and passionate professionals, both experienced and entry-level, to join our team as Autism/ABA Therapists and RBTs. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with children and families in a supportive and collaborative environment, implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy and counseling programs established by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one (1:1) in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy to children and adolescents on the autism spectrum
  • Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions
  • Conduct discrete trials, implement behavior support, and treatment plans
  • Work collaboratively with a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) Supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy
  • Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors
  • Be goal-oriented and maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work
  • Arrive on time and be prepared for therapy sessions

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or be working towards your degree in a related field (Psychology, Education, or Sociology) preferred
  • Experience working with children for 1 year in a 1:1 setting
  • 1-year ABA/RBT Experience (or equivalent experience in a related field)
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle
  • Maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Must have your own transportation and auto insurance in order to travel between clients

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience using a Cognitive Behavior Intervention Plan with youth and families
  • 1-2 years working as a Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Mental Health Technician, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor in a school or home setting

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and competencies:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Physical ability to lift up to 35lbs and perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills, bend, kneel, squat, sitting on floor level or in a chair, or standing for periods of time
  • Ability to respond quickly in short distances (100 feet) in response to the movements and behaviors of children
  • Willingness and ability to work in both indoor and outdoor settings
