Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Claims Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Connecting with Customers: You will connect with customers via phone to document and file claims for customers who have been in an accident.
  • Assisting with Vehicle Repairs: You will assist customers with setting up vehicle repairs and arranging for rental cars as needed.
  • Communicating with Medical Providers and Law Offices: You will communicate with medical providers, law offices, and other insurance providers to file claims and resolve issues.
  • Resolving and De-escalating Issues: You will calmly attempt to resolve and de-escalate any issues that may arise, and escalate interactions when necessary and appropriate.
  • Tracking Call-Related Information: You will track all call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Active Adjuster Insurance License: You must possess an active Adjuster Insurance License.
  • Customer Service Experience: You will need at least 6 months of customer service experience.
  • Age and Education: You must be over 18 years of age and have a high school graduate or GED.
  • Typing Skills: You must be able to type 25 words per minute.
  • Computer Skills: You must be comfortable with desktop computer systems and have experience with Windows operating systems.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving Skills: You must have proven oral and written communication skills, as well as logical problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

We also prefer candidates who have:

  • Previous Claims Experience: Previous experience in claims or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are critical for building strong relationships with customers and colleagues.

Work from Home Requirements

As a remote employee, you will need:

  • Internet Connection: A minimum subscribed download rate equal to or exceeding 12.0 Mbps and a minimum subscribed upload rate equal to or exceeding 3.0 Mbps.
  • ISP Requirements: Your ISP must have no packet loss and ping under 50ms.
  • Proof of Internet Speed: You will need to provide proof of internet speed.
  • Clean and Quiet Workspace: You will need a clean and quiet workspace that is free from distractions.
