Essential Qualifications

To be eligible for this internship, you must meet the following essential qualifications:

  • Be accepted for enrollment or enrolled in a degree-seeking program at an accredited institution on a full or half-time basis
  • Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 for undergraduate programs or 3.0 for advanced degree programs
  • Be a U.S. citizen
  • Meet the minimum qualifications for the GS-07 grade level, which includes successful completion of 1 full academic year of graduate-level education or Superior Academic Achievement (S.A.A.) after completing a bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Coursework in mathematical statistics, statistical analysis, or a related field
  • Experience with statistical software and programming languages, such as R or Python
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
