Schedule and Work Environment

As a Part-Time (34 hours/week) Data Entry Claims Intake Processor at blithequark, you will work a flexible schedule of 34 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 8am and 4:30pm CST. This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home or office. Our team is dedicated to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment, and we encourage open communication and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Claims Intake Processor at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Accurately entering data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers
  • Entering data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests expediently and efficiently to meet client turnaround times
  • Navigating efficiently and effectively through the imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry
  • Differentiating between different claim types and following the appropriate data entry guidelines
  • Accurately identifying specific document types that require special handling
  • Working collaboratively with other team members to ensure that work is completed in accordance with designated turnaround times
  • Supporting additional workflows as needed due to internal or external requirements

Additional Responsibilities

In addition to your primary responsibilities, you will also be expected to:

  • Perform quality review of other team members' claims/authorizations according to established data entry guidelines
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing additional responsibilities as needed
  • Alert management of potential issues upon identification of discrepancies
  • Provide recommendations on process improvements to increase efficiencies as appropriate

Qualifications and Requirements

To be a successful Data Entry Claims Intake Processor at blithequark, you will need to possess the following qualifications and requirements:

  • Required Level of Education, Licenses, and/or Certificates: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Required Level of Experience: 6 months or more years of experience in data entry or typing-focused role
  • Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

+ Strong data entry/typing skills + Excellent attention to detail + High degree of accuracy + Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team + Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Assessment and Selection Process

If you are selected for further consideration, you will be required to complete an online alphanumeric data entry assessment. A minimum of 8,200 KSPH with a 98% Accuracy Rate is required for this position.
